ExVoto Sponsors Historic Hollywood Tour of Homes

The Hollywood Garden Club will host the first Historic Home Tour since before the pandemic. The tour will feature three beautiful homes that have been renovated to today’s standards without compromising the integrity of the original designs that make Hollywood unique.

This Tour, first held in the early 1980s, is our club’s biennial fundraiser for neighborhood beautification and to support Shades Cahaba Elementary, as it has since the early days of Hollywood.

In 2002, the Hollywood Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. It remains of historical significance as the earliest, and one of the best-executed, planned communities in the state.

It is still noteworthy for the architectural style of the surviving historic houses of both Spanish and Tudor design.

This year’s tour features three beautiful homes that have been renovated to today’s standards without compromising the integrity of the original designs that make Hollywood unique.
